Often the places that we associate with the pleasant moments of our life exist only in our imagination. And if this place is no longer exists in physical expression, the feeling of devastation begins to slowly fulfill the soul.

For the Shelter project, Victoria returned to her hometown to visit her childhood home to create a connection between her past and present. This link was a time capsule – an object made of armored glass, with photographs, a letter and a rat placed inside. The rat, curled up in a ball, sleeps, finally having regained its refuge, and the letter is addressed to any person who would find it.
